Don McNay is one of the world’s best known structured settlement experts.  

McNay is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and has Master's degrees from Vanderbilt University and the American College. He is one of less than 160 people worldwide to be awarded the Certified Structured Settlement Consultant’s designation from Notre Dame University.  He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, and a Chartered Financial Consultant.

McNay served from 1998 to 2001 as one of six directors of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, the highest office directly elected by the members of the association. He has spoken at their annual convention several times and for a number of years taught an introductory course for new people joining the profession.

Mr. McNay has been featured in a number of financial publications such as Forbes Magazine, Registered Representative Magazine, Financial Planning Magazine, and Financial Industry Week.  He has won numerous financial industry awards.  McNay is the only Kentuckian and one of less than 400 financial planners worldwide to have been named to the Top of the Million  Dollar Round Table for four consecutive years.  

McNay has been inducted into the Eastern Kentucky University Hall of Distinguished Alumni and has been named Outstanding Young Lexingtonian by the Lexington Jaycees. 

A prolific author and lecturer, McNay has written articles for publications such as Trial, Best’s Review, Trial Diplomacy Journal, LAN, Claims, and National Underwriter.  McNay has lectured to legal, workers compensation, claims  and financial groups throughout the United States,  along with Canada and Bermuda.
