Edward O’Brien has built a highly successful financial services career since his graduation from Virginia Wesleyan College in 1983. The oldest of 5 children, Ed paid for his own education, and his love of people and tireless work ethic has helped him develop a large and loyal clientele. To date, Ed has qualified for the Financial Service Industry’s esteemed Million Dollar Round Table for each of his 19 years in business. In each of the last 3 years, he has earned Court of the Table status, representing Sales and Service performance for the top 1% of all Financial Service Professionals.

Over the years, Ed has become known as an Employee Benefits Specialist. Today, he serves as Agent and Advisor to over 200 Hampton Roads companies for their group health, life and disability income needs. He is a Broker who represents all of the best known health carriers, and is one of the top producers in our region for both Blue Cross and Sentara.

Ed resides in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk, with his wife Debbie and daughter Brittany. He is active as a volunteer and benefactor in several civic organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America and Habitat for Humanity. His hobbies include golf, boating, weight training, and reading.
